It is located at 29 Middlesex Street. The building serves as headquarters of the Boston Turnverein, a German benevolent and athletic association established in 1849. Its purpose is to promote “cultivation of rational training, both intellectual and physical, in order that the members may become energetic, patriotic citizens of the Republic. The building includes a gymnasium, bowling alley and state. It subsequently becomes home of the National Motion Picture Bureau until 1925. The building is torn down in the late 1950s.
